Hilton Head

Here are a few pictures from a quick trip we made down to Hilton Head to visit our friends Anne and Jabo. They were on vacation for the week and asked us to join them. We had not so good weather one day and good weather the next. Anne Carter has been to the beach before, but it was cold so this was her first time in a bathing suit. She napped in a tent on the beach and then we made our way to the pool. She loved it. She has always liked the bath and the pool was like one big bathtub. I hope she will continue to like water and not become afraid of it like some kids. It was kind of funny to see her in her bathing suit. For some reason the bottom is cut really small. It seems like they would make the bottom generous since a diaper has to fit in it. Anyway, the bathing suit was a little big and would ride up as you can see in the pictures. Pair that with a ginormous swim diaper and it looks kind of funny! The smallest swim diaper I could find starts at 16lbs and left gaping holes around her legs...a lot of good that would do for holding in #2!

PS- don't you love Anne Carter's bonnet? She saw one on her friend Amelia and had to have one just like it. Thanks for the fashion tip Amelia!
