First Tooth!

Anne Carter got her first tooth last Friday, August 14th! It was kind of funny because our friend Colleen texted me on Thursday to tell us that Mary Carlisle, who is 5 months old, had just gotten her first tooth and she wanted to know what we had done for pain. I had to tell her that well...Anne Carter does not have any teeth yet! Then, on Friday night Anne Carter was chewing on my chin and I thought it felt a little different. I actually just thought it was that hard piece of gum between your two front teeth, but I stuck my finger in there to see what I felt and I definitely felt her first tooth! She seems to be doing things a little out of order like crawling before sitting up, so I am not too surprised that she got her upper left tooth first (usually the bottom ones come first)!
