2 Week Check-Up

At her 2 week check-up, Anne Carter weighed 8lbs 5oz. She gained 19oz in 9 nine days which is more than double what she should have gained. Dr. Taylor said an oz a day is what they look for. I was glad to have her 2 week appointment scheduled because we had been noticing her eye was goopy sometimes. I was worried she had an infection, but it turns out she just has a blocked tear duct. It should clear up on its own, but if it doesn't she will have to have it poked just like William did when he was little. He said he actually had it done 2 times...let's hope Anne Carter's unblocks itself!
