Our friends Jacquelyn and Justin got married on November 22, 2008 in Nashville. William and I were both in the wedding. We packed up and left for Chattanooga Wednesday night to see family and then headed on to Nashville Thursday afternoon. Anne Carter traveled very well, sleeping almost the entire way. Thursday night the girls in the wedding got manicures and pedicures and all went over to the Lane's for some yummy soup. It was great to see all of my friends in Nashville. It had been almost 4 months. Laura came with us to help out with Anne Carter which we really appreciated and don't know what we would have done had she not been there.
Friday we had a bridesmaids brunch and the rehearsal dinner.
We spent the day on Saturday at the Lane's again getting our hair and makeup done. Then we went to the church to get our dresses on. Anne Carter enjoyed seeing all her friends again! Jacquelyn was just beautiful. She held it together very well at the beginning considering her zipper split on the way to the reception! She should be havin' a talk with Vera about that! The reception was at Belle Meade Plantation in Nashville. A tent was attached to an old barn and everything was so pretty. It was a cold cold night but everyone kept warm thanks to heaters, dancing and wine. We had a great time and we wish Jacquelyn and Justin nothing but the best!
