Colleen's Baby Shower in Knoxville

This past weekend Anne Carter and I went to Knoxville to help host a baby shower for Colleen and Baby Martin, who is due mid-March. Chad and Colleen are waiting to find out if the baby is a boy or a girl. They racked up on bunches of green and yellow! I am so excited for them and can't wait for Baby Martin to get here. When I got pregnant it made me so excited to know that some of my friends would get pregnant soon so Anne Carter could have some "cousins." Anne Carter did get to meet my friend Allison's daughter Amelia. Amelia is 5 1/2 months old and sooooo cute. She has the cutest cow licks on her hairline just like Allison. Anne Carter had not been around another baby until Amelia. She did not really notice much, but Amelia noticed her for sure. We sat them down to get some pictures together and Amelia was trying to hold Anne Carter's hand and suck on her head. There is such a difference in just a couple of months! We are hoping to get the babies together this summer for a beach trip. Can't wait to see if Baby Martin's bathing suit will be pink or blue!

While in Knoxville we stayed with my friend Julie Bell. She was so nice to let us stay considering that she had just moved that week and was still trying to clean out her old house at the same time. It was neat for her kids Edward, Hampton and Berklee to see Anne Carter because I babysat them in college. Keeping Berklee and another little girl, Liza Handly, from the time they were just born until they were toddlers definitely helped me learn about how to take care of babies.
